This is in no way easy an ascent and always require previous mountaineering experience. We will provide you with experienced mountain guides and high altitude porters in addition to our standard services. It will be your responsibility to equip yourself with the necessary mountaineering gear (a list of recommended gear will be advised via email). In addition to the actual climb, the trek involved in this trip gives you the tour of the Chhukhung Valley. Starting from Lukla, the trek passes through the picturesque Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar & Lobuje. It continues on the main trail to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar before making a detour to Chhukhung and leading over the Imja glaciers for the climb of Island Peak. The return is via Thyangboche and Namche to Lukla from where you fly back to Kathmandu.
