Langtang is located northwest from Kathmandu, in the central Himalayas of Nepal. This trek takes us to the heart of the Himalayas. Lying in the north of the Kathmandu and south of the Tibetan frontier, sandwiched between the Langtang Lirul and Chenpo peaks, is the Langtang valley. This is a superb introduction to trekking,and is among some of the most beautiful scenery in Nepal. This trek provides an opportunity to see mostof the Nepalese Himalayan mountain range from Annapurna in the west, to Makalu in the east. Besides visiting Gosaikund - the sacred lake, we will be involved in glacier viewing and mountain spotting.
